ResHealth 2017 Young Investigator Award is presented to trainees, students and postdoctoral fellow members based on a submitted research abstract and the presentation of the work at our ResHealth 2017 conference, either in oral or poster symposia. Each candidate must be the first author on a submitted abstract, must check the appropriate box on the electronic abstract form and must be fully registered to attend the meeting.
Application deadline is Saturday 28th October 2017.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled in an accredited masters or doctoral degree program at the time of abstract submission or be an advanced trainee. Eligible postdoctoral fellows must have no more than three years of research experience beyond their postgraduate degree.
Abstracts are judged by members of the ResHealth 2017 Scientific Awards Committee during scheduled formal poster presentation times at the Conference. Judges are assigned to review abstracts in their own area of research expertise, evaluate each applicant based on merit, presentation and scientific significance.
The winner of the Young Investigators Award will receive a cheque for $500 to be formally presented at the Conference Dinner held on Saturday 2nd of December.
