Barossa Gourmet Weekend 14-16 August

Barossa The Barossa is one of the world’s great gastronomic playgrounds, renowned for its wine, fresh seasonal produce, beautiful landscapes and easy-going lifestyle. Gourmet Weekend is a three day celebration of the region’s food and wine culture including long lunches, gourmet dinners, wine masterclasses, winery days, workshops. This year Gourmet Weekend celebrates its 30th anniversary and guests will be astounded by the offerings of the Barossa wineries and foodies, all wrapped in friendly Barossan hospitality.

Strathalbyn Collectors, Hobbies and Antiques Fair 15-16 August

This annual event is among Australia’s best antique and collectors fairs. It involves sales, displays and collections across a number of venues with the inclusion of antique appraisal, live entertainment and shuttle buses to all venues.

Big Burke and Wills Trek 16-26 August

Flinders Ranges and Outback This trekking event takes place over 11 days and covers 330kms in south western Queensland and north eastern South Australia.
